I wonder that facebook is sometimes really useful. For example, connecting with certain people who don't appear in lectures, when you have to actually do something.
This time the session was about video production and we had to come up with an idea for a short video, which we cannot edit afterwards. So in this case we have to prepare a very good storyboard and everything related to it.
I really struggled with an idea for the film, because I didn't want to do a chick flick romance, which was kind of one of ideas. It's awfully odd considering that my group consists only of two guys and me. And I was not the one who suggested that idea.
I re-did that idea into a story of two random people meeting when walking around the university campus. But only filming feet of the actors. I thought this way we're going to avoid amateur acting and various small filming errors.
We'll see how it goes. But it's more difficult than it seems.

Week 7: first major project deadline and Web Page Design & Animation
There's nothing better than support from your helpful project group peers. Specifically when idea time comes. And not even idea time, but everything, for example, doing something at all.
Fortunately, this session was very helpful for me, as our group had just realised that we must do three separate commercials for the selected item ("Blue Nun"). Now that was a relief: I won't be the only one who is thinking.
So, I am left with Blue Nun TV commercial: I will try to convey an idea of an intimate wine commercial as clear as possible this way persuading people to trust the wine. And who knows this wine, can easily agree that Blue Nuns character is not very ambitious. And I am trying to change that. At least make up a lie and covert it into a TV commercial. Hopefully.
Matt R. is doing paper advert and Matt W. is doing a promotional website. Or I'm hoping they're doing that.
For that session task we had to make an interactive gallery of something we want that presents a web page design. I did a gallery of typography examples and played with some fonts, buttons and pictures I found in MS Power Point. Of course I didn't forget actual typography works.
